สิ่งที่เติบโตคู่กับสังคมของมนุษย์ตลอดมานั้นคือศิลปะ ศิลปะเป็นเครื่อง สะท้อนถึงภูมิปัญญา ความเชื่อค่านิยม จิตใจ และความรู้สึกของผู้คน ในช่วงขณะ ที่ผลงานนั้นเกิดขึ้น เนื่องจากผู้สร้างงานนั้นย่อมไม่อาจแยกตัวจากสังคม และ ความเป็นประชากรของชุมชน สังคม ประเทศชาติ ผลงานจึงเปรียบเหมือน การประมวลสรุปภาวะการณ์สิ่งต่างๆที่เกิดขึ้น อันมีผลกระทบต่อความรู้สึกและความสนใจของผู้สร้างผลงานในฐานะจิตรกรผู้สร้างผลงานที่รวบรวมปรากฏการณ์ สุนทรียะอันเกิดขึ้นในใจเรียงร้อยเป็นผลงานจิตรกรรม แถลงถึงความงามและชีวิต
การรู้จักการงานอย่างแท้จริงและคุณค่าของสิ่งที่ทำ ช่วยก่อคุณค่าของชีวิตเป็น เกียรติยศของมนุษย์ ดังนั้นการวาดรูปและเรียนรู้ความจริงผ่านการทำ ทำเพื่อทำ
อาศัยการวาดตามสัญชาติแห่งจิตรกร สัมผัสกับภาวะอันมิอาจแทนด้วยภาษา
เกียรติของจิตรกร คือการวาดรูปด้วยชีวิต
นิทรรศการครั้งนี้คือถ้อยแถลงแห่งสุนทรียะแห่งการงานที่พากเพียรเพื่อคุณค่าของ
ชีวิตที่ใช้การวาดรูปในการทำความเข้าใจในความจริงและคุณค่าของสุนทรียภาพ
วีรพงษ์ ศรีตระกูลกิจการ (อายิโน๊ะ) จิตรกรนักวาดรูปและทำภาพพิมพ์แกะไม้นอกขนบ โดยออกจากเงื่อนไขของการเป็นภาพพิมพ์ ผู้ที่ทำงานอย่างไม่มีวันหยุด วีรพงษ์มีการแสดงผลงานทั้งในและต่างประเทศอย่างสม่ำเสมอเคยได้รับรางวัลต่างๆ เช่น รางวัลเหรียญทอง ประเภทภาพพิมพ์ การแสดงศิลปกรรมแห่งชาติ ครั้งที่ 51, เหรียญเงิน การแสดงศิลปกรรมแห่งชาติ ครั้งที่54,เหรียญทองแดง การแสดงศิลปกรรม แห่งชาติ ครั้งที่ 52 ครั้งที่ 53 และครั้งที่ 55 ,รางวัล Honorable Mentions, 10th International Biennial Engraving “Josep de Ribera” Xativa, Spain ผลงานของวีรพงษ์นั้นจะผันเปลี่ยนไปตามช่วงเวลาซึ่งเดินไปพร้อมกับประสบการณ์ และชีวิตโดยไม่ยึดในรูปแบบใดรูปแบบหนึ่งดังนั้นผลงานจึงเป็นตัวสะท้อนถึงความคิด อารมณ์ความรู้สึกและเรื่องราวต่างๆที่เข้ามาในชีวิตในขณะที่สร้างผลงานนั้นๆขึ้นมา ในนิทรรศการครั้งนี้ วีรพงษ์ใช้การทำงานจิตรกรรมและภาพพิมพ์แสดงออกซึ่ง ความรู้สึกและความทรงจำดั่งออกมาจากมิติแห่งอดีตกาล สู่โลกปัจจุบันการต่อสู้
ในหนทางศิลปะและการพิสูจน์หาคุณค่าที่แท้จริงของชีวิตอุดมคติความเชื่อที่บางครั้งมิได้เดินคู่ขนานไปกับค่านิยมของสังคมซึ่งการยืนหยัดศรัทธาและซื่อสัตย์ในความจริงต่อการงาน คือเกียรติของชีวิต คือเกียรติของจิตรกร
