เกิด : 17 มกราคม 2491 สมุทรสงคราม

การศึกษา : ปริญญาโท คณะจิตรกรรมประติมากรรมและภาพพิมพ์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร

พิษณุเป็นทั้งอาจารย์สอยศิลปะ ศิลปิน นักเขียน และนักวิจารณ์ศิลปะ นามปากกา “พิษณุ ศุภ.” มีประสบการณ์ด้านการสอนศิลปะสาขาภาพพิมพ์ อีกทั้งยังมีบทบาทสำคัญด้านภาพพิมพ์ในระดับชาติ ได้รับรางวัลจากการแสดงภาพพิมพ์กว่า 24 รางวัล ได้รับรางวัลเหรียญทองจากการแสดงศิลปกรรมแห่งชาติ 3 ครั้ง รางวัลภาพพิมพ์นานาชาติ 2 ครั้ง รางวัลที่ 2 เหรียญเงินบัวหลวง ประเภทจิตรกรรมร่วมสมัย ครั้งที่ 3 ปี 2520 ของมูลนิธิธนาคารกรุงเทพ และได้ถวามยงานรับใช้พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว โดยเป็นหัวหน้าคณะทำงานและประสานศิลปิน 9 คน ในการจัดทำภาพประกอบจัดทำเหรียญ “พระมหาชนก” และเป็นผู้ออกแบบหนังสือบทพระราชนิพนธ์ “พระมหาชนก” เนื่องในวโรกาสมหามงคลฉลองสิริราชสมบัติครบ 50 ปี และพระราชพิธีกาญจนาภิเษก พ.ศ. 2539 นอกจากนี้ยังเคยดำรงตำแหน่งณบดีคณะจิตรกรรมประติมากรรมและภาพพิมพ์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร

Pisnhu Supanimit

Education : Bachelor and Master Degrees from The Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts

Pisnhu is an art lecturer , artist, writer and art critic with pseudonym of “Pisnhu Sup.” At present, he is holding the position of Associate Professor of Graphic Arts Department, The Faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University.

Pisnhu has experiences in art teaching of printmaking, as well as plays an important role in international Printmaking. He was awarded gold medal from 3 National Art Exhibition and 2 prizes from the international printmaking competitions. He was the head and coordinator of 9 artist who drew  the illustration for “Phra Mahachanok” on the occasion of The Fifthieth Anniversary Celebration of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne.

Besides being the famous artist, he is also the prominent art critic who was awarded prizes by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sarindhorn’s from the Bangkok International Book Fair for many consective years, as well as many other prizes. He once held the position of Dean of faculty of Painting Sculpture and Graphic Arts.
