Defragmentation 4.0 in Bangkok คือนิทรรศการที่สำรวจความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประสบการณ์ของมนุษย์ พื้นที่ และความเป็นจริงที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็วของโลกยุคปัจจุบัน ศิลปินตรวจสอบขอบเขตที่พร่าเลือนขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ ระหว่างธรรมชาติและสิ่งประดิษฐ์ ระหว่างกายภาพที่จับต้องได้และภาพเสมือน มาร์ซิน เบียลาส สร้างพื้นที่ที่กระตุ้นให้เกิดการไตร่ตรองถึงความสัมพันธ์อันซับซ้อนระหว่างชีววิทยา วัฒนธรรม เทคโนโลยี และประสบการณ์ของมนุษย์ ผ่านผลงานวาดเส้นและภาพพิมพ์โลหะร่องลึก ที่ผนึกเทคนิคโบราณอันทรงคุณค่าซึ่งให้ลายเส้นคมชัด ประณีต และมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวแบบดั้งเดิม เข้ากับไวยากรณ์ทัศนศิลป์ร่วมสมัยได้อย่างทรงพลัง
มาร์ซิน เบียลาส เป็นศิลปินผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านภาพพิมพ์โลหะร่องลึก เขาสำเร็จการศึกษาจาก Academy of Fine Arts แห่งเมืองคาโตวิเซ และดำรงตำแหน่งศาสตราจารย์ที่สถาบันแห่งนี้มาตั้งแต่ปี 2563 ผลงานของเขาได้รับการจัดแสดงในนิทรรศการเดี่ยวหลายสิบครั้งทั้งในและต่างประเทศ อาทิ แคนาดา เยอรมนี ฝรั่งเศส เบลเยียม ไอร์แลนด์ โรมาเนีย บัลแกเรีย ฮังการี ฯลฯ รวมถึงนิทรรศการกลุ่มและงานแสดงภาพพิมพ์นานาชาติ ทั้งงานเบียนาเล่และเทรียนาเล่ที่สำคัญ ๆ ทั่วโลก อีกทั้งยังได้รับรางวัลเกียรติยศมากมายจากการประกวดผลงานพิมพ์ระดับนานาชาติ เช่น รางวัล Grand Prix จากงาน International Triennial of Graphic Art ครั้งที่ 5 ที่เมืองบิโตลา, รางวัล Triennial Award จากงาน International Triennial Print ครั้งที่ 5 ที่กรุงไคโร, รางวัลที่ 2 จากงาน International Biennale Print “Aguafuerte” ครั้งที่ 4 ที่เมืองบายาโดลิด, รางวัลที่ 3 จากงาน International Print Triennial ครั้งที่ 17 ที่เมืองเฟรเชน, รางวัลที่ 3 จากงาน International Biennale Print “Aguafuerte” ครั้งที่ 9 ที่เมืองบายาโดลิด และรางวัลพิเศษจากงาน Utazu Art Award Biennale ในประเทศญี่ปุ่น เป็นต้น
นิทรรศการ “Defragmentation 4.0 in Bangkok” โดย มาร์ซิน เบียลาส จะจัดแสดงระหว่างวันที่ 3 กันยายน – 11 ตุลาคม 2569 และจะมีพิธีเปิดนิทรรศการในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 3 กันยายน 2569 เวลา 18.30 น. ณ หอศิลป์ร่วมสมัยอาร์เดล

“For me, drawing has never been just a tool for depicting reality, but a way of thinking through images, a visual language for recording emotions, memories, and experiences.”
Defragmentation 4.0 in Bangkok explores the relationship between human experiences, space, and the rapidly changing reality of the modern world. The artist examines the increasingly blurred boundaries between nature and artificiality, between the tangible and the virtual. Marcin Bialas creates a space that stimulates the reflection on the complex relationship between biology, culture, technology, and human experience through his drawings and intaglio prints which powerfully integrates the ancient technique, known for its crisp, intricate, and unique lines, with contemporary visual grammar.
Marcin Bialas, a specialist in intaglio printmaking, graduates from the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice and has held a professorship there since 2020. He has dozens of solo exhibitions both domestically and internationally, including in Canada, Germany, France, Belgium, Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, and others. He has also participated in group exhibitions and international printmaking events, including major biennales and triennales around the world while collecting numerous prestigious awards from international printmaking competitions such as the Grand Prix at the 5th International Triennial of Graphic Art in Bitola, the Triennial Award at the 5th International Triennial Print in Cairo, the 2nd Prize at the 4th International Biennale Print “Aguafuerte” in Valladolid, the 3rd Prize at the 17th International Print Triennial in Freschen, the 3rd Prize at the 9th International Biennale Print “Aguafuerte” in Valladolid, and the Special Award from the Utazu Art Award Biennale in Japan.
The exhibition “Defragmentation 4.0 in Bangkok” will be on view from September 3 to October 11, 2026, at ARDEL Gallery of Modern Art. The opening reception will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 6.30 pm.
The gallery is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
