“กุหลาบสีเลือด” (Crimson Rose) หนึ่งในผลงานบทละครของ ดารกา วงศ์ศิริ เจ้าของรางวัล Lifetime Achievement Award จาก ชมรมวิจารณ์ศิลปะการแสดง IATC Thailand ในปี 2016 ผู้ประพันธ์บทละครร่วมสมัยที่หลายต่อหลายเรื่องถูกนำมาสร้างและประสบความสำเร็จไม่ว่าจะเป็น “สุดสายปลายรุ้ง(1991)” “พินัยกรรมของหญิงวิกลจริต (1994)” หรือ “ทึนทึก(1992)”
กุหลาบสีเลือด บอกเล่าเรื่องราวภายใต้มิตรภาพที่ดูสวยงามระหว่างโรส เดือน สีฟ้า สลิล และละอองฝน
หญิงสาวที่อาศัยอยู่ร่วมบ้านเดียวกัน กลับแฝงไปด้วยความลับอันโหดร้าย
เสมือนดอกกุหลาบแสนสวย แต่เต็มไปด้วยหนามแหลมคมพร้อมทิ่มแทงทุกสิ่งที่สัมผัส
แต่ทุกอย่างกำลังจะจบลง ในช่วงกลางดึกหลังพายุสงบ เมื่อเสียงปืนดังขึ้นหนึ่งนัด
และร่างของเธอไร้ซึ่งลมหายใจ ความลับทุกอย่างในบ้านหลังนี้จะถูกเปิดเผย

แม้จะถูกสร้างเป็นละครเวทีมาแล้วหลายครั้ง แต่ครั้งที่ทำให้ผู้ชมทั่วไปรู้จักละครเวทีเรื่องนี้มากที่สุด คงไม่พ้นเวอร์ชันละครเวทีโรงใหญ่ในปี 2012ผลงานการกำกับของ รสสุคนธ์ ทองเกตุ (ครูเงาะ) และ ชยานิษฐ์ จิราโรจน์เจริญ (ครูเบลล์)ที่ได้นักแสดงมากฝีมือหลายคนมาร่วมแสดง ไม่ว่าจะเป็น นุ่นศิรพันธ์วัฒนจินดาญารินดาบุนนาค เอ๋มณีรัตน์คำอ้วน
ขนมจีนกุลมาศลิมปวุฒิวรานนท์และ อุ๋มอาภาศิรินิติพน
และในปี 2018 นี้ กุหลาบสีเลือด จะถูกนำมาตีความใหม่ โดยผู้กำกับความสามารถรอบด้านอย่าง ภัทรสุดา อนุมานราชธน (บัว) ที่นอกจากจะการันตีความสามารถด้านการกับกำกับด้วยรางวัล Best Direction of a Play 2017 โดยชมรมวิจารณ์ศิลปะการแสดง จากละครเวทีเรื่องคนก้างปลา (Stick Figures) เธอยังเพิ่งฝากผลงานในฐานะนักแสดงในละครเวทีสุดเดือดดาลเรื่อง “บุพกาลี” ที่เพิ่งทำการแสดงที่ทองหล่อ อาร์ต สเปซ ในเดือนเมษายนที่ผ่านมา
โดยครั้งนี้ ความแตกต่างจากเวอร์ชันก่อน อยู่ที่การตีความของผู้กำกับที่มองว่าเรื่องนี้เป็น Contemporary Tragedy เป็นเรื่องราวที่ยังคงเกิดขึ้นจริงในสังคมร่วมสมัย มากกว่าเป็นเพียงเรื่องราวฆาตกรรมนองเลือดที่ต้องการหาคำตอบว่า “ฆาตกรคือใคร?”ตัวละครที่แบกอดีตของพวกเธอเข้ามาและความพยายามที่จะจบปัญหาทุกอย่าง นำไปสู่ความตั้งใจของผู้กำกับที่ต้องการให้การแสดงเกิดขึ้นในรูปแบบของละครโรงเล็กเท่านั้น เพื่อที่ผู้ชมจะได้เห็น “ความจริง” ในระยะประชิด ได้สัมผัสสภาพแวดล้อมและเกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนมวลบรรยากาศและพลังงานระหว่างนักแสดงและผู้ชม

Women, lies, secrets
and the tragedy after the storm
Crimson Rose is a play written by DarakaWongsiri, receiver of IATC’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016, as well as one of the most prolific modern playwright in Thailand. Several of her works have been staged with great success, like “At the End of the Rainbow”(สุดปลายสายรุ้ง) (1991), “The Madwoman’s Will” (พินัยกรรมของหญิงวิกลจริต) (1994), or “Spinsters” (ทึนทึก) (1992).
Crimson Rose tells the tale of Duean, Seefah, Salil, and Fon, the women who live in Rose’s boarding house.
Beneath harmonious relationshipsbetween women, brutal secrets lurk, like roses with thorns that prick and cut.
However, things are about to end in an eerily quiet night after the storm,
When a gunshot goes off and a girl’s lifeless body is found… the secrets will out.
Despite being staged several times in various settings, the most well-known version is in the big-scale theatre in 2012, directed by WaranitJirarojjaroen (Kru Bell), and RossukonKongkate (KruNgoh) who also starred as Rose, featuring a star-studded cast including SiraphunWattanajinda, YarindaBunnag, Maneerat Kham-uan, KunlamasLimpawutwaranon, and ApasiriNitibhon.
In 2018, Crimson Rose is about to me reimagined by PattarasudaAnumanRajadhon (Bua), an all-round talented director, winner of IATC’s Best Direction of a Play Award for “Stick Figures” staged in 2016, as well as actress in the critically acclaimed dark-comedy play “God of Carnage”, recently performed at Thong Lor Art Space earlier this year in March and April.
The fresh touch in this iteration lies in the director’s interpretation who views this piece as a contemporary tragedy play, a true story that can happen even in modern society, as the underlying theme beneath a ‘whodunit’ murder story. Each character, burdened by her past, try to resolve the issue at hand, which prompts the director’s intention to stage this piece in a small-scale theatre to allow the audience to witness ‘the truth’ up close, to let us be absorbed in the atmosphere, allow us to exchange our vibe between actors and audience.
