Have you ever looked back at the past, and seen a perspective from those events which has
\nshaped your current existence? Whether it is something that was impressive, some sweet
\nmemories or even injurious mistakes, everything that happened has a beautiful perspective
\nwhen we look back on it in hindsight.
\nWHAT WAS is an art exhibition which is an artistic expression of life in reflection through
\nindividual abstract interpretations presented by 3 abstract artists: Chanida Aroonrungsi,
\nWutthichai Boontham, and Chalit Nakpawan. They are jointly presenting \u201cWHAT WAS\u201d
\nfrom their personal perspectives towards their past in a beautiful way, through their works in
\neach individual style of abstract with different techniques.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cWHAT WAS\u201d by Chanida Aroonrungsi
\n\u201c\u2018WHAT WAS\u2019 for me is a reminiscence of the past through the lens of the present, guided
\nby time, experience and wisdom gained which all
\ngive me a different perspective and feelings from
\nwhere I was before. With time having passed by,
\nexperience and feelings are present in seeing
\nsomething that is beautiful.
\nUpon this reflection, we may be able to discover what
\neluded us in the past. When we revisit it in detail, we
\nmay see perspectives which we hadn\u2019t thought that
\nwe would feel on that day.
\nEverything happens for us to remember, let go and learn from the traces to live with the
\nimpressions so we can move on with joys, beauty and contentment to apply them in our
\npresent lives.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cWHAT WAS\u201d by Wutthichai Boontham<\/p>\n

\u201c \u2018WHAT WAS\u2019 is a matter of childhood
\nimpression in my concept, shaped by the
\nfreedom to play, think, and dream. They are
\nmemories which influenced both my
\npersonal and work life.
\nWhen we grow up, things are not always as
\nthey seem. They are more difficult and
\ncomplicated. Eventually, we all must make
\na choice and hopefully with the same
\nfreedom and confidence that we had when
\nwe were children.
\nFor the details in my art pieces, they are a
\nbalance between angels and devils,
\nillustrating both a bright and gentle view, and a dark side, both of which are present in
\neverybody.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cWHAT WAS\u201d by Chalit Nakpawan
\nIn my definition, \u2018WHAT WAS\u2019 is my life journey,
\nwith all of its fortunate and unfortunate events,
\nsuccesses, and failures. All of them were
\ndevelopment shaping me to learn. It is unleashed
\npotentials which in turn leads to understanding,
\nadvancement, and lifelong learning in all aspects
\ngoing forward.<\/p>\n
