ทะเลไทยมีความสวยและงดงามตามธรรมชาติ มีทั้งโขดหิน, หาดทราย, คลื่นลม, ตลอดจนเรือ, สิ่งก่อสร้าง และชุมชนที่มีวิถีชีวิตเกี่ยวเนื่องผูกพัน จากการได้สัมผัสและได้รับประสบการณ์จากทะเลแต่ละแห่งนั้น ให้อารมณ์ความรู้สึกที่แตกต่างกันตามสภาพแวดล้อมและสภาวะกาล จึงก่อเกิดแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานจิตรกรรมสีน้ำ “อารมณ์ทะเล” ขึ้น โดยนำเรื่องราว, รูปทรง, สีสัน บรรยากาศของช่วงเวลาและฤดูกาลเกี่ยวกับทะเล มาถ่ายทอดผ่านเทคนิคกลวิธี วิธีการระบายสีน้ำ โดยแสดงออกถึง ความสงบ, อบอุ่น, สดชื่น, แจ่มใส, เงียบเหงา, โหดร้าย หรือรุนแรง ตามสภาวะที่เปรียบเหมือนอารมณ์ของทะเลในรูปแบบและอารมณ์ความรู้สึกเฉพาะตัวของศิลปิน (สาโรจน์ อนันตอวยพร)

Thai coastal sceneries exhibit by the natural beauty with gravels, shorelines, ripples, as well as the other man-made constructions including boats and vessels, and the inter-related livelihood of local communities. From the experiences, each individual sea renders different feelings corresponding to the timing and circumstances, giving the artist an inspiration to create the “Mood of The Sea” watercolor arts, bridging its legends, shapes, colors, atmospheres and seasonally through watercolor techniques, and to demonstrate its solitude, tranquility, tenderness, brightness, cruelty or even vigorous, corresponding to the mood of the sea in accordance with the artist’s unique perception.
